Rachel
We are firm believers in using the time during the summer months wisely. We encourage our students and set up programs to refine skills, press ahead with our studies and use the time outside of the day to day school and weekly activity routine to make serious progress through tutoring. This is especially important when there is a Bat Mitzvah lingering on the Fall Horizon. This task can be a difficult one when competing with sleep away camp and summer activities. However, this summer one of our best students, Rachel Margolin was able to make serious progress on her Torah Portion, Vayeira while at sleep away camp. In between intense 20+ mile canoe trips and having fun with her camp mates, she was able to use her ipod and periodically check in with her tutor. As soon as she came home, it was clear that we had gotten over a hump with her Bat Mitzvah preparation.
We are now ready to hit the ground running when we get back into our Fall routine and work towards her big day! We can already see how the extra work put in over the summer will pave the way to success. GREAT WORK, RACHEL!
